Now the games that work, but with a poor frame rate:Ĭall Of Duty: United Offensive (wine, expansion pack of Call Of Duty, Medium Settings)ġ8 Wheels Of Steel: Haulin (wine, very low settings)ġ8 Wheels Of Steel: Pedal To The Metal (wine, very low settings) These where the games which worked with/without some tweaks. Torchlight (wine -also available as NATIVE in the software center) ![]() NFS: Underground(wine)(anything beyond that doesn't work) Max Payne(wine)(unfortunately Max Payne 2 doesn't work) The Elder Scrolls: Morrowind(PlayonLinux) So here's a list of the games that I've managed to get to work on Wine/Playonlinux(note: these are games which works great and has an FPS above 20): I say this because I've had previous experience with playing games on my old PC. Well most Linux native games work on an old PC but what if you want to play Windows games? You'll have to use Wine/Playonlinux but if your PC is old, then some games may not work on Linux even if it does on Windows. Thought i'll make a thread for all those Linux users out there who likes playing games but has a very poor PC. ![]()
